We are excited to announce the publication of the Stoney Nakoda Nation’s cultural assessment report: Understanding the Tînda Mîmân Corridor through Stoney Nakoda Traditional Knowledge Project, featuring contributions by MLP researchers Sam Bohlken-Hern, Claire Wright, and Eric Higgs.
The MLP team contributed historical and contemporary landscape mapping of the Bow Valley, utilizing historic images captured between 1889 and 1916, and repeat images captured between 2009 and 2014. The team also provided analyses of land cover and wildlife-vehicle collision data. The results, figures, and maps produced can be found throughout.
